About IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), established in 2015, serves as a cornerstone of the institute's post-accreditation quality sustenance initiatives. Aligned with the recommendations of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the IQAC is dedicated to institutionalizing quality enhancement and fostering continuous improvement across academic and administrative domains.The IQAC’s key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting regular reviews of teaching methodologies and evaluation processes.
  • Implementing strategic measures to enhance the quality of education for students and faculty.
  • Performing internal audits to ensure institutional practices uphold excellence in every sphere.

Through systematic reviews and periodic meetings, the IQAC cultivates a robust culture of quality assurance, propelling the institution toward achieving its mission of academic and administrative distinction.

To establish a dynamic and responsive quality assurance framework that empowers our institution to excel in an ever-evolving educational landscape.

Mission:

  • To proactively engage stakeholders and harness their collective expertise to continually enhance the quality of education and services provided by the institution.
  • To conduct rigorous self-assessment and benchmarking exercises to identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based strategies for enhancing institutional effectiveness.

Quality Policy:

To emphasize and inculcate a quality culture with responsive, reliable, and transparent efforts through a combination of self and external quality evaluation.

Quality Objectives:

  • To fulfill the vision and mission of the institute in the light of its quality policy.
  • To develop a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic action to improve the academic performance of the institution.
  • To promote a quality culture and implementation of best practices.
  • To implement a sustainable Quality Management System to enhance Quality in Education.

Functions:

The functions of the IQAC encompass various activities aimed at promoting and enhancing quality within the institution. These include:

  • Develops standard operating procedures for academic and administrative tasks.
  • Establishes benchmarks for course outcomes (COs) and program outcomes (POs).
  • Organizes quarterly meetings to review departmental progress on CO-PO attainment,research, and placement activities.
  • Tracks the implementation of action plans from previous meetings.
  • Facilitates implementation of innovative teaching-learning methodologies
  • Coordinates activities related to audits, acceptations and documentations for NBA/NAAC
  • Prepares reports showcasing institutional achievements and distinctiveness
  • Supports student-led innovation and entrepreneurship activities
  • Collects, analyzes, and maintains records of institutional data such as result analysis, faculty feedback, and attainment reports
  • Prepares and submits AQAR to NAAC and other relevant bodies
  • Identifies, documents, and disseminates best practices across departments
  • Engages students in decision-making processes through surveys and feedback mechanisms
